Once upon a time, in a small town nestled among green hills, there lived a boy named Ali. Ali’s greatest dream was to own a car. But his family was poor, and they didn’t have the money to buy such a wonderful car. Every day after school, Ali would watch the old cars in the town square and think to himself, “I wish I had a car of my own.”
One day, while playing in the forest, Ali found a rusty toy car at the base of an old tree. It was small and red, with slightly crooked wheels, but Ali was overjoyed. “You’ll be my best friend!” he said, cleaning it up and putting it in his pocket. On his way home, he kept turning the car over in his hands. Suddenly, a wind blew, and the car began to glow. Ali was surprised because this wasn’t an ordinary toy.
When Ali got home, he placed the car on the table. “I wish you could grow big and take me for a ride,” he thought. And what do you know? The car suddenly started to grow into a real car! It was painted red, with shiny headlights and a humming engine! Ali jumped in and said, “Let’s go!” The car moved on its own, cruising through the town’s streets. Ali was flying with happiness, exclaiming, “Wow, you’re so fast!”
The next day, Ali took his magic car to give rides to his friends. They went to the forest first, then to the river, and even up to the mountain top. The other kids in town started to get jealous. “How is Ali’s car so special?” they asked. A few days later, the town’s wealthy merchant heard about it. “That car must be mine!” he declared and sent his men. The men followed Ali and saw the magic car. “This car can go anywhere without getting tired!” they marveled and reported back to the merchant.
The merchant ordered, “Bring me that car!” His men caught Ali and took the car. Ali cried, “Please give it back, it’s my friend!” but the merchant wouldn’t listen. The merchant got in the car and said, “Take me to the richest place in the world!” The car started moving, but the merchant was so greedy that he shouted, “Faster, more gold!” The car sped up and up, but the merchant lost his balance and fell out. Meanwhile, the car turned around on its own and returned to Ali!
Ali was thrilled and thought, “This car is magic, but it can be dangerous. Everyone wants it, and it’s causing fights.” He decided the best thing was to take the car back to the forest. When they arrived, Ali said to the car, “Thank you, my friend, but I’m setting you free.” The car shrank back to its old size and hid at the base of the tree.
Ali went home, but he wasn’t sad anymore. He repaired an old bicycle with his father, and they worked on turning it into something like a car. Days passed, and Ali made a small toy car with his own hands. He played with it and took it everywhere. He realized that magic things are fun, but true happiness comes from things made with effort. Soon, everyone in the town started working to make their own dreams come true.
